The countdown is on!
I picked up the travel documents from my travel agent today, so it feels like it is getting very close now. After our visitors leave this week, I shall put my suitcase on the spare bed and start to throw items of clothing into it, as I think about what to take to London. it will be a very different experience this time, as I am used to packing for the English Summer and now I have to think instead about what to pack for the Winter, and we are in the middle of our Summer. I hope my brain can cope with this! |

As we celebrate Australia day, let's just take a minute to think about how we came to be here in this great country and how different life might have been had our ancestors made different decisions.
In my own case, my parents made a very courageous decision to emigrate to Australia from England in 1973. Imagine how much harder that decision and ultimately the journey would have been in 1873 or even earlier. In my husband's family we have a lenient judge to thank, who decided to send his direct ancestor to Tasmania from Scotland rather than having him hanged for his misdemeanor! |

2011 is here and now’s
the time to book onto one of our tours for this year! Remember we only have a
maximum of 10 guests per trip, so you don’t want to miss out!
So what do we have to
offer?
Our first trip is in
June to England and some of the counties we will be visiting are Cornwall,
Greater London, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Hertfordshire and
Lincolnshire. However, once you
book and pay your deposit, you then help to shape our final itinerary, as we
include your own places of interest in our journey. |
